The Eagle Field Service Information Day took place on Wednesday 10th March at the Chartridge Hotel, Chesham. The event brought delegates together from many service industries interested to learn how the Eagle Field Service solution can add value to those organisations with a field service or remote engineer operation.
Simon Spriggs opened the half day seminar by providing delegates with an introduction to Exel Computer Systems. Simon then gave an overview of the core modules within Eagle, showing menu layout and overall functionality – the ‘look and feel’. Simon spent time explaining how the needs of a service department are evolving, and how a solution like Eagle can easily satisfy these extra requirements in comparison to the more traditional service solutions. A more thorough presentation and explanation of Eagle modules and general toolsets followed, and delegates were able to tailor this session to specific areas of interest dependent on their needs. Delegates were very aware that any investment in software is now more closely scrutinised than ever. Any product like Eagle that offers the future proofing capability and toolsets to allow users to adapt their solution at zero cost is yet another driver towards justifying change and realising payback on such an investment far more quickly.
The day was rounded off by an informal question and answer session. During the breaks and at lunch time the delegates were able to meet with Exel Account Managers who were on hand to answer any questions.
